This wool yarn is made 100% with hands by using ‘bardoli chakra’ – charkha with giant wheel (traditional Indian spinning wheel). The product is outcome of our initiative Chalo Charkho Ramiye to encourage makers sustain the age old hand skill of creating handmade yarn with local fibres and local tools. The fibres used for making this yarn are locally sourced sheep wool. The yarn quality is good for hand weaving though the counts vary.
