These are 100% handmade clay roof tiles; one of the traditional vernacular building products widely used in India earlier. These tiles are proved to cool the interiors of a building when used on the roof. These roof tiles are handmade on traditional potter’s wheel by local potters in Gujarat.

The product is outcome of our initiative VARIA potters to encourage use of clay products and support traditional potters to sustain their occupation. Our efforts are towards reviving this age old craft via traditional potters who know this skill and are willing to product handmade terracotta roof tiles.
