This product is 100% handmade. These handmade rugs or floor covering are made of natural sheep wool. The yarn is made by using wooden spindle (traditional tool) and the textile is made by crochet technique. The product is outcome of our initiative Chalo Charkho Ramiye to encourage makers sustain the age old hand skill of creating handmade yarn, and use of local fibres and local tools. The fibres used for making this yarn are locally sourced sheep wool and made by home based makers in remote villages from India.
