ART to HEAL is an initiative by Avani Varia with her interest in ART for Wellness and Rehabilitation. It is a journey of self-discovery: Creating art can help you acknowledge and recognize feelings that have been lurking in your subconscious.

Informal learning of techniques, for who have never tried their hands on anything of this sort before and for pro-artists a process to manage behaviors, process feelings, reduce stress and anxiety, and increase self-esteem.

Explore art techniques; be it needlecraft, painting, clay, metal, yarns, or anything in combination for your personal WELLNESS.

Avani offers a therapy that is to get involved in the process rather than focusing on the outcome and its commercial outcome.

I invite you to make art with me. It is relaxing, fun and you create a pile of beautiful bits to add to your work or frame. There are no rules! Just stitch & doodle something.

Ongoing – STITCH MEDITATION sessions (bespoke, in person and/or online are available from March 2020).

The stitch meditation sessions are of 30 minutes each.

The art healing sessions are organised at your personal space, STUDIO aVni, public spaces, museums, art galleries, social gatherings. Small and intimate groups of not more than 6 people.

Beware: This is not a networking event. We meet and do our own art and not intended to talk about our personal and work life to anyone. More when we speak or meet in person.
